Bird metal art wall decor. This hummingbird metal wall hanging measures 16" x 20" . It has been hand cut from recycled steel 55 gallon drums at our workshop in Port au Prince, Haiti.

The hummingbird's bill and tongue are specially designed to take advantage of the nectar in various flowering plants. A hummingbird hovers over the flower, inserts its bill and long tongue to access the nectar. As the bird withdraws from the flower, he collects some of the pollen on his bill, which he then carries from plant to plant. Hummingbirds are responsible for the pollination of hundreds of plants.
